The fabric

As with most of our models, we have chosen to use few materials, mainly natural, from renewable resources, whenever possible.

We have chosen to combine Tiffanie Delune‘s natural pattern with a timeless, smooth, and soft material: silk twill, and thus create a sensory and visual experience to wear. Silk twill is a special weave of silk, featuring obvious diagonal lines and offering high quality touch, flexibility, and shine. Its appearance enhances the colors.

The main fabric of the Wavy pants is made of 100% silk (17mm twill) from Italy, near Como. The decorative and closing tape is in 100% polyamide velvet.

Softness and fluidity

The Wavy unisex pants are oversized, with a carrot cut, loose and relaxed.

Features: carrot cut, 2 side pockets, velvet ribbon in raspberry tones on the side and for the tightening belt.

• Kossi, our male model is 1m90 and wears a size M.
• Stencia, our female model is 1m73 and wears a size M, pants worn with high waist

• Note that our pants have a tightening system at the waist for the best fit.

The manufacture

Once the silk fabric from Italy has been received, our Wavy pants are made in a small clothing workshop in Benin, respecting international standards.

Why Benin? With Esthet, our goal is also to develop long-term partnerships and build a value chain for targeted fabrics such as cotton (from cultivation to clothing, including weaving and dyeing). West Africa, and in particular Benin, are areas that we are targeting in the pursuit of this objective, given our special attachment to these regions. Being aware of the R&D process necessary to achieve our objective, we had in mind for this first collection to find partners rather located in Europe. However, we did meet some remarkable actors on a journey of exploration, who made us want to start collaborating with them sooner than expected.
